[ HOW TO JOIN ]

» For first enrollments, we will open 20 SLOTS for regular members. [ The number of slots may also change depending on the number of interested people ]

» This is NOT a first-come first-serve enrollment, so don't rush yourself. We will judge your apps and decide based off effort and creativity.

» Please make sure to read ALL OUR BLOG ENTRIES. They have important information that you MUST know to get in.

» Done with you application? Good! Next step is to click the "Join our group" button at the front page. Within your join request, include the following:

CHARACTER'S FULL NAME
AGE
LINK TO APPLICATION SHEET
...plus another "secret code" that must be put here or else your application will be DECLINED. Search for it at our blog entries!

» After sending your join request, you will receive a correspondence message to keep track of your approval status. DO NOT DELETE IT, because that's how you will know if you got approved or not. We won't go after each applicant to tell them if they got declined or accepted.

» Now, all you gotta do is WAIT. We will go through your applications AFTER the enrollments are over. This may take some time, so DON'T RUSH US. Pestering will do not BUT hurt your chances of getting in.

» After making our decisions, we will write a blog entry determining that enrollments are OFFICIALLY OVER. After this blog entry appears in your inbox, check to see if you got approved OR declined.

» You got accepted? That's great! You're now part of the Brigade! Feel free to enter the chatrooms and submit group-related art whenever you want. Don't be shy to rp with other members too, they're here to have fun with you. And please, don't forget to submit your application into the "MEMBERS" folder at our gallery.

» Got declined? Don't worry, you can always try again next time. And of course, we will give you a reason for your rejection, so will not commit the same error during next enrollments.

» BE ATTENTIOUS TO SURPRISE POSSIBLE OPEN SLOTS! If, for some reason, a member leaves our group due to failing activity checks or leaving the group by themselves, WE WILL RE-OPEN THAT SLOT FOR THE PUBLIC!

If you have a question that is not answered below, leave a comment and we will answer.

» How many characters can I have?
As you may be tired to know by know, ONLY ONE. Only mods are allowed to have 2 characters.

» What about humans? Can I make one?
STRICTLY NO. They are the brigade's main enemies, why would you want to make one in the first place?

» Can we make traps?
Yes, but specify their TRUE GENDER in the application.

» Can my semi-god control elements or use magic?
NO. Even though divine deities do exist in this world, THERE IS NO THING CALLED MAGIC. Gods and semi-gods don't control elements or use magic. They just have a far superior strenght/agility/endurance/intelligence.

» Can we make pets?
Yes, but no fantastic creatures like unicorns and dragons or absurd things like elephants or tigers. Just normal pets, like dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, etc.

» Where and when does the plot take place?
It won't really make difference knowing this or not, but the plot takes place at a fictional city called Aaran, at year 2566.

» Are semi-gods ALWAYS the child of a god and a human, or they can be the children of another semi-god too?
Semi-gods can result from GODxHUMAN and SEMI-GODxHUMAN. Sometimes even from SEMI-GODxSEMI-GOD. Your character can be the son/daughter of another semi-god(s) too.

» I know my character CAN have dyed hair. Is really any color allowed?
Yes it is. But please, refrain from making characters with dyed hair. We'll choose just a few, for we want people to roleplay semi-gods in their true essence.

» Is there a dress code?
Not necessarily, but it would be convenient if your character's outfit was mainly black/yellow.

» Can I make twins/siblings/relatives with another member and apply with them?
Yes, you can. But that doesn't guarantee both of you will get in, though.

» Can my character have disabilities like blindness or amputated limbs?
Sure, as long as they manage to survive with that... I mean, we are at war here.

» Do our characters have jobs inside the HQ?
Not "jobs"... but they have their own duties there. Like medics, engineers, guards... you get my point.

» What kind of weapons can my character use? How many are we allowed to have?
You can have any kind of weapon you want, AS LONG AS IT IS NOT MAGIC. Guns, blades, your own fists... even customs. But please, use your common sense while making weapons. Don't create anything absurd. As for how many you can have, ONE MAIN WEAPON and TWO subweapons.

» Can my character live OUTSIDE the HQ?
Yes, but themselves will be responsible of their survival. Also, if that cause any problems for the brigade, THEY WILL BE DISMISSED.

» Will we have missions/events? Are they obligatory?
Yes, there will be missions/events in this group. But mainly chatroom events, where you ROLEPLAY, and don't need to draw anything, unless if you want to. But all drawn events ARE OBLIGATORY, for they will serve as activity checks.

» Can my character be of any ethnicity I want?

Yes~ All the countries of nowadays still exist in the group's setting.

» Regarding character background/biography, can I claim a certain existent mythological deity and use it as their parent?

NO, YOUR SEMI-GOD CHARACTER IS NOT AWARE OF WHAT DEITY IS THEIR PARENT, so you can't claim a existent deity. Gods can have multiple human disguises and never aknowledge their mortal children due to certain reasons anyways, so how will your character even know to who are they related? This is necessary to prevent conflicting stories, like two people picking the same god/goddess.

[ R U L E S ]
So this group may flow smoothly, we must have some rules. Not following them will result in a warning/ban.

» Even though this is an action-based group, the main focus is CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. That means 70% of the time, characters will be socializing. Of course, there will be occasional events in battlefield where your characters may fight againts the brigade's enemies, but we will warn beforehand.

» Fights between brigade members ARE ALLOWED. But if they cause any kind of major ruckus or damage the HQ, mods will be forced to step in and both members involved will be warned.

» RESPECT your fellow members and moderators. Don't spam or troll.

» We will be EXTREMELY strict with your apps. So be sure to follow everything correctly and put REAL effort on it.

» A bit of gore/blood is accepted, but don't overdo it.

» Don't roleplay sexual content in the chatroom. If you want to, do it by private messaging. Breaking this rule will result in INSTANT BAN.

» No god-modding or power-playing. Be fair to other members, your characters AREN'T invincible. If a mod spots you doing that, you will be given a warning.

» In the chatroom, NPCs are NOT allowed. You may rp your NPCs in private messaging however, for we can't control that. Just don't bring them in the chatroom, for that will result in a warning.

» Use )) or ]] when chatting OOC. It helps other members to identify serious rps and crack ones.

» Keep the crack rps at MINIMUM. This group is for serious roleplaying. If you want comic situations, I recommend you to join a high-school themed group instead.

» If you are caught trying to join the group with two accounts, BOTH WILL BE INSTANTLY BANNED.

» Submit only work related to the group, please.

»Try to keep the group alive! If you're joining just to take a spot and we notice you aren't even a single bit active, we will kick you out and open the spot again. Simply uploading doodles or coming to the chatroom is considered being active.

» To make sure you read all the rules, include the sentence "WE WILL SURVIVE" at your join request. Join requests without this will be DECLINED.

Oz: "So you want to join my brigade? Very well, there are a few criteria you must meet first!"

Remember to read our FAQ & Rules for further information.

» Members are allowed ONE character, that must be a member of the brigade. Mods, however, can have 2 characters.

» Your character MUST be a semi-god. No humans or Gods. Gods are restricted to MODS ONLY.

» Characters must be aged between 12 and 45 years, so your character MUST BE able to fight. There are, indeed younger and older people than those limits in the brigade, but they do not fight. They are just protected as refugees.

» Your character's natural haircolor MUST be white, grey, silver or a very light blonde. That's the trademark trait of semi-gods after all. Hair dye is allowed, however [ But remember to specify it at your character's info. If you apply with a character with different hair color and don't inform in the app it is dyed, YOU WILL BE DECLINED ].

» About eye color, you can do whatever you want.

» Your characters are allowed to wear anything they want, but yellow/black outfits are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.

» Even though this is a world where mystical powers do exist, Semi-gods CANNOT use magic. They use military/homemade weapons and their better physical traits to fight.

» Any fighting style is allowed. Swors, guns, chemical weapons... be creative! But don't go overboard, or else it will be god-modding.

» The Brigade is meant to be a place where semi-gods can seek help and live in safety. So your characters CAN live in the HQ. But if you want them to live outside, hiding amongst the humans, you are allowed to. Just remember that your character's survival outside the HQ will be completely YOUR responsibility then.

» Strictly NO BASES/TRACING/COMMISSIONED ART. If a mod suspect of that for whatever reason it is, YOU WILL BE BANNED AUTOMATICALLY.

» Adopted characters are allowed, though. AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE ORIGINAL DESIGNER'S PERMISSION. We don't want to be bothered about any problems you may cause for using an adoptable for our group without permission.

» Your character can be drawn both traditionally and digitally. But please, for traditional works, SCAN IT. We won't accept things such as cellphone photos.

"Gods do exist. They're always watching every single man living on this tragic planet. Yes, maybe even among us.

But humanity is too ignorant to notice what is around them.

This is a world where celestial entities known as "Gods" do exist. They possess immense power, and they're above any level of comprehension ever reached by a human. They can take any form they want. Sometimes, even the form of humans to go hide amongst mortals without being noticed.
Their origin? Why are they watching us? No one knows.
But contrary to common definitions of "gods"... they are not flawless. Oh no.
Even gods cannot reach perfection.

Gods are, in fact, sinners.

And humans don't even imagine that what they believe to be mythical, is actually real.
They do not.
...but WE do.

Like I mentioned before... Gods are sinners. And one of the sins they like to commit the most... is to go down at the human's world, and to bond with a selected few.
Simply because they are bored, and like to fool humans.
But sometimes, the bond becomes strong. Too strong... that we are born.

Offsprings of humans and Gods, indeed.

...And what does that mean, you may ask? We don't know. We just know we are not gods. But we are not humans either.
Gods don't accept us. Humans don't know what we are, and are scared of us.
Both want to eliminate us. Because we are just a major error committed by them.
We have no place to stay. We're completely off in this world.
That's why we stay together, and fight for our survival. We are alive."

We are The God-off.
That's what we are.
